Rest stop

Today was another lovely autumn day. I headed off on a bike ride but held the idea lightly. From past experience I know that giving blood knocks me from strenuous exercise for a few days.

The empty legs/drained feeling hit me about 11kms from home. I had a couple of rest stops and explored parts of the nearby town of Lincoln I didn't knew existed. Then I headed home grateful to have electric Bert to assist me.

There's a pot of apples and pears gently stewing on the stove top, and a book beside my chair. I'm sorted.

Today's gratitude: For autumn colours.
