Inchkeith

After a walk in the Pentlands with G in the morning (extra), I went to Portobello to be part of a crew rowing to Inchkeith, an island in the Firth of Forth. We were 6 so we took it in turn to be passenger, cox, rower. and given that we rowed for approx. 4 hours, it provided a nice rest. We were accompanied by A. who is the person who built the boat for the club. He also built, for himself, a very elegant one person skiff for himself, with a sliding seat, This is the one in the photo, though you can't really see how nice it is.. The weather and sea conditions couldn't have been any better. We saw lots of seals and birds of all kinds, including many puffins. I am really tired and still have the sensation of being on a boat,  but I feel elated.
