An Avid Lensman

Back In Time...

...for the start of the Chinese Grand Prix...

You needed to be up early to see the very brief sun, in Salisbury, this morning. 5 minutes later and it is back under cloud. This is at its peak, looking along the River Avon, remnants of the daffodils and the Cathedral Spire hoisted aloft over the Close wall.

A 106mb PSD file, a 21mb jpeg copy - altering the perspective to get that pesky Spire pointing upwards instead of inwards at a crazy angle, as the Nikkor 10-24mm is at its widest, the tripod looking up.

An unashamedly romantic image with softness and warmth, admittedly but the parts were definitely better than the sum so some 'help' needed. It's good to explore other styles too.

My title could also be referring to the historical aspect of the subject, whilst the very latest hi-technology whizzes around and around on my TV on one the latest Grand Prix tracks in the world.

Having grocery shopping that I've put off for days to do when supermarkets open at ten a.m. and a bath, as manipulating a tripod for an hour and a half is quite tiring and it still isn't at its warmest out there. So, have a great Sunday, all and I'll get back to commenting later this evening.

Music is one of my all-time favourite tracks - it may surprise you...
