Decorated Boat

After a leisurely breakfast this morning, sat in the restaurant looking out over the marina that featured yesterday, we said goodbye to Mrs madwill’s mum (and Mrs madwill’s brother in law) as they headed off back home to Bedford. We stayed a while and wandered around the marina area and old ferry pier and then headed into town - across the very smart new pedestrian bridge over the A63. this wonderful old boat was moored up and I loved the fancy stern! The view from the front is in extras. In town we stopped for coffee - and than walked some more before heading back to the car at the hotel. I got my 10,000 steps in - yay! We then drove back home, stopping briefly at a B&Q for a few garden bits and some supplies to install a power socket for a new washing machine that is being delivered tomorrow. The old machine is wired directly into the wall with an isolator switch- but I decided that chopping the plug off the new machine to wire it in to the wall again would probably invalidate the warranty - so it is just as easy to put a socket in under the sink and wire that into the old machine connector!!
