San Esteban de Aramil, Pola de Siero

Main is the apse of San Esteban de Aramil, which is known to have been in existence in the mid 13th century. The church is also known as San Esteban de los Caballeros ("the horsemen" or "the knights"). I´ve shown the view of the apse because it´s less plain than the main west entrance. But the main west entrance and the south entrance are shown in the extras.
In the picture of the south entrance people may notice that the beak-heads are back - they caused some interest when they were shown before, in the church at Llugás - and the triangles above the west door are said to be sublimated beak-heads.
I´ve also shown some capitals from the west entrance - a very fine Green Man among them - and a picture of the whole church taken from its north west.
