Day 1 of a trip to Barnstaple.

The blip is from Dyrham Park, a National Trust property just north of Bath.

A magnificent house set in rolling countryside in South Gloucestershire. Interesting gardens and extensive walks. All that was missing were the deer, sadly they became infected with bovine TB and had to be culled 2 years ago. There is a plan to restock the 250 acre estate with a resistant strain of deer.
