Colourful

Whilst my daughter and I were at the Stitch Festival in London a couple of weeks ago, Gordon went off on his own. One place he went to was the Geographical Society to see again the Shackleton Exhibition. Eventually he made it down to the Natural History Museum and came upon something he didn't even know existed - a Geology Shop

When he went in he found a lady sorting large geological maps ready to sell off because they had been used. Strangely the one she was at that moment laying out on the table was Appleby! Of course he was interested and she soon found three others which then covered the whole area around our village. He bought all four for £12!!

He had to carry the large tube around with him, but it got home safely. He then bought some hangers and he is now in the process of putting them on the wall in his room - it's a good thing it's a large room with lots of wall space.

This is the one he is hanging up at the moment. Of course it means nothing to me, but it is rather colourful!!
