Winter Flowering Cherry (in Spring)

We've had another flush of blossom from our winter-flowering cherry in recent days.  It really is such good value for money and we're glad we didn't take it out when it started to drop leaves regularly during the summer.  Instead we carried out some judicious pruning (as advised by the head gardener at Weston Park) and it sees to have had a second life since then.

I was in work today, meeting the newly appointed licensing officer.  I'm now hopeful I can step back from day to day involvement in the licensing work and concentrate on other projects for the Council.
