Blackbird on snow

There was a couple of centimetres of new snow in the morning, but also lots branches etc. as the wind was on the high side again. Despite a few quick snow showers during the day, but all the new snow had thawed away by evening in the areas that had no snow before. Two blackbirds were looking for something to eat under the suet bar, while the woodpecker was up there.

There was one tree fallen across a road yesterday. The owner of a nearby summer cottage reported it to me then, but as he had managed to open the road himself, I didn't have to hurry there. Did it first thing after cattle duties today morning though.
