Les Paulilles and Porte Vendres

A drive down to the coast and a visit to the beach at Les Paulilles, once a dynamite factory and now a nature reserve.  It is so lovely and these donkeys are always there.

Then on to Porte Vendres, which was the main port linking Algeria and France during the Algerian War of 1954 - 1962.  It is the 60th anniversary of the end and flags and memorials have been happening all over the area here
