Froswick and Ill Bell

We went Wainwright bagging in the Far Eastern Fells today from near Brothers Water. We walked up Hayeswater Gill to The Knott first before going over Rampsgill Head, High Raise, Kidsty Pike, where we had lunch and then on up High Street and on towards Thornthwaite Crag where the blip was taken looking the west side of the Kentmere horseshoe. The weather had been excellent, warm and sunny but as we left High Street the cloud built up leading to the interesting light of the blip. We then went up Stoney Cove Pike, a cheeky wee new Marilyn to finish the day. The extra is some trees by Hayeswater Gill on the way up.

Best on black.
