CELEBRATIONS PART 2

At last a moment to catch up….just too much fun being had!!!

How lovely to wake in our shepherds hut with a text message
#breakfast is served on the terrace.
There was cereal, yogurt, fruit and a full English but best of all sunshine!!
Then it was time for a 2 hour walk through the local woods… courtesy of a couple of map readers. It ended up being 3 hours which was a bit too far for me and quite a few others…and with no breaks!!! However it was lovely and very therapeutic to be with nature.
#this is the band of walkers.
#We did meet some very very muddy patches and there was some creative ways to get across…in middle photo.
When we got back we were ready for a snooze but nooooo….it was Escape Room Challenge Time….courtesy of the map reading couple. They had worked for about 100 hours developing it. And it was amazing…
#a science experiment with litmus paper to get colours to solve a clue…hieroglyphics to find a bag of hidden treasure around the massive grounds
#and map reading to get the numbers to open the padlock to our teams prize…homemade brownies. And our team won !!!
We definitely needed a nap then before donning on our posh gear for our cocktail session. #We had booked a private chef who prepared us a delicious 3 course meal and more importantly cleared and washed up…..just perfect.
The ladies then performed a musical number for the birthday girl to her worse song about all her pet hates….wind turbines, hot dogs and plastic etc. It caused a lot of hilarity.
The evening was washed along with champagne and lashing of beer and gin and wine and…..
No idea how it ended :)))
