Hovering on Baby's breath spirea

Caught this flying creature (I suspect a kind of hoverfly) on the tiny white  flowers of the Baby's breath spirea. For Tiny Tuesday with thanks to JDO for hosting this month.

We were almost getting used to the lovely spring weather, but unfortunately it's getting much colder again. I did hear something about wet snow being expected on Thursday or Friday !
