Day 088/22. My stick insects are growing

My Indian Stick Insects are growing well. Hatched about a month ago, they are now about 3cm. As they grow they completely shed their old skin and climb out of it. This is a discarded skin after a shedding.
reaches adult lengths of up to 8cm. Overall the body colour is a yellowish-green to brown and the forelegs have red patches at their base.
These insects also have an unusual defensive strategy and when they feel threatened will go rigid and fall to the ground. Very funny to see when I enter my study and turn the light on at night.
