Going upstairs with my mum this evening, she stopped to say goodnight to her mum. Something she said she always does now.

My granny was probably around 30 and in her late 80s in the two photos. Mum is a week short of 94. I am hurtling towards 70 (typing that I am incredulous). Time is terrifying.
