Petals and pollen

Another day of the usual household chores, followed by paperwork. Finished the filing, now comes the hard part I fear! 

Good to chat on the phone with Tom this afternoon - it's his birthday.

Tulips often retain their petals until they're dry and withered, and twisted in to interesting shapes, but not these. The petals are just dropping on to the top of the cabinet, together with lots of pollen.
