Serious earth moving...

One of Michael and Chris' farmer neighbours has set aside some of his land to develop a lake for wildlife. Apparently this is going to cover about 17 acres, so it's quite an undertaking. I've been meaning to go up there for a look and to take some photos so I went this morning.

This site is said to be where medieval carp ponds were and is at the source of the River Granta.
