Skiddaw with a little Snow

Went to our friend's for coffee this morning, couldn't believe while we were there it snowed. 
Our car was showing it had a puncture, so when we left our friend's we popped into town to get it fixed. It was freezing cold especially noticeable  after the lovely spring days we had over the weekend. So we went into a cafe and had soup. While we filled time in walking around town, the snow got heavier, but it did not lay. We knew it would be on the hills.
Late this afternoon, we got lovely pink clouds, so I nipped up to the gate to grab a picture of Skiddaw, with just a smattering of snow.
