Hawthorn

There are little white flowers everywhere on the shrubs around the fields looking very pretty.  It's a shame the weather has gone cold again, we're even predicted snow tomorrow!

In other news Jess  has been limping for a while (and no longer jumps into or out of the back of the car).  According to the vet today it's just age related wear and tear, likely to be exacerbated by a pin put in her elbow when she was a puppy.  Nothing we can do about it apart from manage the pain, which doesn't seem to be that bad at the moment.

In happier news, Martin's ski-injured leg is much better and is joining me again on dog walks, and Nick the gardener is back and has suggested a lot of pruning I can be doing this weekend...
