Mud Daddy

Took Darwin for a walk around the roads this morning. The trainer commented on the fact Darwin is worried about strangers and we have notice this as well. Spent a bit of the walk just standing on the corner saying hello to no one to get him used to the words as he always seems to react and get a bit hyper when the stop to say hello. It was a big day for him as he went to the vet for his 6 month checkup and pre nad removal examination. He barked at the vet when they first went in but was happy enough to let her examine him. She has recommended we wait another 6 months before getting his balls cut off and to work on his anxiety and fear. She is going to do a referral to a behavior therapist, as he needs to get more confidence. She says she is seeing more dogs like this as a result of lockdown but that he isn’t aggressive in any way just fearful. I came back and went to the post office to collect the muck daddy. Finally got fed up of dirty dogs in the car and bought a washing system. Hopefully it will work on their coats. On the way back I had a little girl almost run out in front of me at a pedestrian crossing in the roadwork just past Murrayfield. Managed to stop in time and she didn’t quite step out in the road which was a good thing as I had nowhere to go in the roadwork’s.
