Varsity

Today was the last of the sports at Edge Hill and it was varsity. That is Edge Hill vs UCLAN (university of Central Lancs). The last one was 3 years ago in Preston and it was a draw but UCLAN took the trophy as they were the home team. All sports play so there was plenty to photograph. As it was so cold and rainy I only photographed indoor sports I still took about 700 photos. There was a great atmosphere as there were plenty of spectators who were really noisy during the very exciting mens basketball game. Even badminton had spectators for a change. The man in the photo made a run from one end of the court to the other and ended with a slam dunk so I had to put it in a triptych. Edge Hill won overall which is great. A fabulous but tiring afternoon.
