Nice to see the boys playing football in something other than rain!

Great game today, with sonnumberone playing in an attacking midfield position rather than his normal defensive role, and enjoying the freedom that goes with it. Maybe slightly unlucky not to get on the score sheet after a couple of good efforts on goal.

Accolades to his brother though who in this photograph is being fouled in the penalty area to win a penalty that put us one up. after the Pumas equalised, Sonnumbertwo then scored a wonderful goal to win us the match, pouncing on a loose ball, taking it round the keeper and nailing the ball into the top of the goal. I'm not sure he felt the pain when the Puma defender then pushed him over, but I guess if you've just scored, then nothing else matters!

Onwards and upwards - now off to indoor cricket nets .....
