What inspires

... is the optional theme for today's abstract.

I am inspired by the wonders of nature which today unfortunately include driving rain and wind. I tried to get out and take a photo along those lines but the weather defeated me.

I had to search for something indoors that can inspire and thought of fabric. I like its transformational power, both for a wearer and a room.

My photo is of a silk velvet jacket, as it fell when I tossed it onto the bed. The colour is not true, probably because the sun came through the window ever so briefly and altered what in reality is closer to magenta. I like to touch this jacket even if I'm not wearing it.
