The 'what inspires us about abstract photography' theme is, for me, the chance to turn an everyday object or scene into something a bit more intriguing. I've probably not succeeded here, but enjoyed having a play around.
A morning walk in pleasant sunshine, though there were no buzzards, woodpeckers or pyramids of cows, hence the anodyne extra.
I spent the rest of the day on an unexpected 'mercy dash' to hospital with a friend who suddenly experienced disturbing vision problems in one eye. We feared a detached retina, but thankfully it seems to be something to do with the gel-like stuff (pardon the technical terms) around it. Hopefully it will just clear up, but will need to be kept an eye on.

Many thanks to Ingeborg for hosting Abstract Thursday.
