Wastwater

A friend of mine (Will, past Blipper WildCardinal) has visited us for a few days, to help me build my new computer.

Today was a gorgeous day, we drove to Wastwater, and shot some lovely pics down the lake before parking at Wasdale head, and walking over Illgill Head & Whin Rigg. Walked back to Wills car, put everything in the boot and shut the boot, only to realise that the car was still locked and the keys were in the boot. 

Walked to the pub (where else) and he called BMW assistance. Eventually they sent a guy from a local garage, equipped with the usual kit to break into a car. But he was unable to. We ended up getting a taxi from Wastwater back to Keswick (ouch!) and Will had to arrange to get his spare keys sent up to us.

We're now 2 days later and all is right, but my camera was also in the boot - hence the late blip.

Quite an eventful day!
