Happy 104th Birthday RAF!

104 years ago today, the Royal Flying Corps became the Royal Air Force. I am proud to be able to say that I was part of its history for 16 years and 144 days, both as an Airman and then as an Officer.
I did some amazing things with some of the most amazing professional people that I have ever met in sometimes rather adverse conditions... Some are still in the Service, some are still with us, but some are now not. The ones who are gone are not forgotten.
I wore this hat on the day I graduated as an Officer, on the day I got married (two weeks later) and also for some more sombre activities and day-to-day business as well. It has a rather inappropriate sticker inside, but that is another story...
Mrs C is still in Service, so I maintain the link through her, and I am very proud of everything she has achieved so far during her time in the RAF. :)
