Sahee

I have a couple of friends who are members of the Bristol Zoo, so whenever either of them is in town we meet there for lunch.  And of course whilst there, I always stop by to pay my respects to any felines in residence.  

I have very mixed feelings about zoos.  But this gorgeous creature, called Sahee, was born in a zoo, whilst his relations back in India (he is an Asiatic lion) are highly endangered.  So in this instance it is not at all a bad place for him to be. He has a fairly large area to live in, good food, toys to play with, and a beautiful lioness to keep him company.
