A humdrum day and a humdrum blip ..

A bit of a nothing day really .. tidied up my very messy van this morning, the idea was to make a bit of space for my bike and go and do some cycling exercise along one of the unused railway tracks around here.

This afternoon I went out to Kiplingcotes where there is an unused track - but it was very windy and I was feeling too feeble, so went for a walk around the YWT chalk pit.

It was too breezy for the birds and all I saw were distant hares and this enormous and surprisingly brave rabbit - sitting next to a gun cartridge..
