Flower Friday

Awoke to a hard frost and a sprinkling of snow, but it went very quickly.  Quick photo of the flowering Pieris in the garden before going for a coffee at Tittle Tattle.  A good crowd, and I got a lovely cuddle with baby R. As I was leaving I saw a familiar figure and realised it was my brother-in-law whom I hadn’t seen for 6 years - in fact the last time was at Joe’s funeral!  Not good news health wise for his family at the moment, so we had quite a long chat and a hug.  I’m not a very tactile person, but my husband was, and I do admit to missing the hugs!  They are very similar so it was a bit weird!  Extra is a bottle of rum my son brought home - spiced rum - lovely and warming but very strong!!
