Mated pair

We went to our garden space today to see how the asparagus was coming up and we’re greeted by a pair of ducks. The hen is better pictured in the extra. We are wondering if this is the same pair that nested in our garden last year. I hope they have better luck raising a brood than last year whose nest was raided by a raccoon or nutria.
