Success

It’s NGS open garden time and time to make cakes for next Sunday afternoon’s opening. We normally have about 200 people so we all help to make cakes. I try to make about 100 slices. Four very large coffee and walnut sponges, three very large Victoria sandwiches and these three lemon drizzle will give me approx 100 slices. I’m thrilled that I have got a crunchy top on the lemon drizzle cakes at last. Someone suggested granulated sugar and that’s what I have used. Success. They will now join the other cakes in the freezer.
