Flax in Fog……

It was very foggy early this morning. This clump of flax is frequented by a modest flock of Tui, a native bird, from time to time. We have enjoyed Hannah’s and Alex’s visit. Hannah helped with a number of tasks including harvesting Feijoas. Alex used his chainsaw to deal with a number of shrubs. He cut down an enormous overgrown Cecile Brunner rose. We eventually had a long and tangled line of the rose trimmings stretching over most of our lawn. I plan to hire a skip for a potential large amount of green waste.
