Flying home from Kefalik

Had a great 4 days away, travel back home was very smooth but I do hope to return 

Was feeling very buoyant until I took a call late evening from a US collaborator to tell me my industry lead was being made redundant and they were having to shut down that part of the project 

It's such a shame 5 years of hard work went into that project but hopefully at some point in the future when the technology has advanced enough it will be revived in some capacity
