Whilst looking for bees and flowers this morning this chap came to look to see what I was doing. He was less hovering but more darting, some 4' above the lawn.

It was hard to get a fix on it especially as I was using a 300mm (600mm at 35mm equivalent) lens on max zoom. This is un-cropped. I went manual focus and used the pot-luck setting. Between his darting and my shake we met as near as damn it halfway.
