Lus na Goithe

Flower of the Wind or wood Anemone. Did you know: it's named after the Greek God of wind Anemos who sent his namesakes, the anemones, to herald his coming. Their flexible stems cope with all manner of gusts!  They like a bit of ancient woodland. And I think Miranda1008's wildflower challenge has now started.

We're actually going out for a talk tonight rather than zooming which will be weird. Our friend Robert is talking to Bantry Historical Society about a local pirates' nest in the 17C!!  Masks will still be worn. Catch up later.
