First Swallow of the season

My husband and I went for a walk on Saturday and saw our first swallow of the summer. In the hedgerows was a Jenny Wren shouting about the new season.
I’ve been busy starting my next painting which is of a lovely Anglo-Saxon church. I took the photo on a misty morning so I’m hope to re-create it in my painting.
