Smeery

More hilltop geophys this morning and, although I was only moving lines across grids, I managed to come home looking somewhat muddy. Having consulted the Sussex dialect list of words for mud, I think today’s was best described as being of the ‘smeery’ variety (‘wet and sticky surface mud’).
