Live theatre

Sue got tickets for us to see a live theatre performance, our first since the whole Covid thing started. You had to show proof of vaccination and wear masks the whole time, so it was as safe as anything can be that's inside.

It's a brilliant play, beautifully written, but it was not well-directed. The actors did their best, but they were given little or no movement, so they sat or stood, said their lines.... Felt like a high school production to me.

We left at intermission, but it was good to see that theatre artists have devised ways to perform again after a long hiatus.
