A work in progress

On the patch

Today was an allotment kind if day. We only got our allotment in January and it's not very clear yet m, but we do have a row of fruit and the allotment rhubarb we planted last week is peeking through the earth. Today I planted 5 rows of onions (3 white 2 red) and the husbeast dug over enough earth for 3 rows of potatoes. The potatoes have been chitting for a few weeks and had gone a bit nuts so I hope they work ok.

Turns out we needed to go back to the allotment after lunch as we needed to plant the spuds. Matt and the lanky one went back while the littler 2 and I went on a bread and milk expedition to the shop, exciting times. Today saw the first harvest from our garden, the rhubarb is doing brilliantly so we had our first crumble if the year, many more to come I hope!!
