The final fling

The tree surgeons were here to finish removing the dead branches from the Monterey Cypress trees. They had finished by lunchtime and they thanked me for the flapjacks. I’d added dried cranberries and chopped almonds.

HtP was working at a local house so I delivered some flapjacks to him on foot.

Having missed some sleep on Sunday evening the boys and I have had a little siesta this evening.

J and M arrived home late yesterday evening after a lovely few days away.

And I suspect that the petals will all fall on the tulips tomorrow so here they are before they go.
