In Blinding Color

It would be difficult to miss our house right now as you round the bend and see the ice plant at the bottom of our driveway. It must have been blooming when the Google truck went by because it looked just like this when we looked up our address last year before we bought the house.

The neighbors are coming over for a barbecue this evening. We were hoping to have a drink under the arbor and dinner on the porch, but it is windy enough to blow the hamburgers right off the brightly colored plastic plates I bought yesterday to put them on. Plan B may be in order....
