Camouflage Ruddy Turnstone

I spent some time this afternoon trying to photograph some Ruddy Turnstones on the beach today. Not an easy task as the sea spray made the shots appear cloudy, it was windy and they wouldn’t keep still! Anyhow, I was happy with this camouflage shot.

We had a lovely, if blustery, walk along the Platja de Migjorn to the Punta de ses Portes. yet more amazing rock formations (see extra) including a man made carving.

As the rain came in, we met my sister’s friends for a coffee. They had arrived this morning and were planning to walk around part of the island over the next week.

Out for dinner this evening. Tomorrow we will need to leave around lunchtime to head to the airport.
