VIC 96 at Chatham Historic Dockyard

This is Victualling vessel VIC 96 operated in naval dockyards in the 1900s. They were based on the Clyde Puffer design and had steam reciprocating engines. VIC 96 was one of many procured by the War Office in 1945. Another surviving vessel is VIC 56 currently at Boathouse4 Portsmouth Historic Dockyard where I volunteer restoring and preserving historic small craft. https://www.vic56.co.uk
