Paws to the rescue!

Not always easy when Bobby is determined to help do up a lace!

This afternoon I went for a walk round Fairfield Park. I’m fascinated by the place.  Especially the old hospital that’s been turned into flats etc.   The old hospital had the longest corridor in England at just over half a mile long!  Which gives an idea of the length of the buildings! And then you have all the wings branching off on either side and the houses that would have been used by the staff.  The rest of the grounds are now full of houses built since the early 2000s.  The hospital closed in 1999.

Apparently there were excavations after it closed that brought to light iron and Bronze Age remains.  My DIL is full of interesting information! So is this! Nearly 200 pages!
