Back is improving gradually. Hurrah! :-)
Spent another day at work making infinitesimally tiny improvements to such a microscopic fragment of the world that nobody will ever notice. 
Rain happened and I submitted my tax return. 
Lay down and continued reading a book that ought to could have been better written.
