Angela and Lottie

A day of saying goodbyes before head off south tomorrow.
Angela was doing a stained glass course this morning and had just finished when Lottie and I called in. She was worried there might be tiny splinters of glass on the floor, but had cleaned the table so lifted Lottie up onto it.

Another neighbour is looking after plants, the greenhouse and the hens, so she was round this morning checking what was required. It seems a lot to leave anyone with, but she was unfazed by it all! Thankfully!

Called in to see a lovely friend who is now getting palliative care at home. Her husband and sons have moved most of the furniture out of the sitting room to their own homes and the NHS have installed a very comfortable bed and hoist for her in there. She is on oxygen and morphine and is not in any pain but is very weak. Her daughters are both staying there at the moment and there is a very peaceful and restful atmosphere. We had a big hug as I said goodbye.
