A day in the life

A productive day after all our gadding about yesterday. I:
* cleaned the kitchen floor, aided by the cat leaping on the mop;
* made nettle, sorrel and wild garlic soup - actually very good. We have been watching series Faoi Bhláth about wild flowers on RTE (very good, there are subtitles and apart from learning about the flowers, it's fascinating to see how many changes of outfits the presenter has - a lot, and she has ringlets) and she said that three helpings of nettles will sort you out for the whole year
* dug over half the polytunnel (the other half is planted) wrestling with the bog grass which goes for miles underground and marvelling at where the enormous rocks come from - Talpa  patiently explains every year and every year I forget - sorry T, it's a thing anyway
* sent a new blog into the ether
* admired an article on Holy Wells in the Spring edition of SPAB (Society for Protection of Ancient Buildings) mag, hmmm who could have written that
* and are now about to watch the final episode of Bridgerton which I have to confess I have found rather infuriating this season

And the main pix -  the awakening of the vine in the polytunnel with a backdrop of cherry blossoms, newly fallen in the wind.
