Pocket Tripod

An upcoming Photographic Society competition is 'Close-up' and I was thinking about what I might do and what I might need.  This is a Manfrotto Pocket Tripod.- a very useful bit of kit.  I also thought I would test the Macro performance of my Sony Compact.  Not taken anything yet - just thinking ...... :-)
On the bit of 'string' you can see underneath the camera is a mini screwdriver to fasten the tripod to any camera.  I thought keeping it fastened to the tripod might be a good idea :-)  :-)
