Birds of two feathers

Crested terns and Pelicans hanging about near the boat ramp. The number of terns is building up daily... maybe breeding season for the fish in the bay. The last time I snorkled when the tern numbers were up the sea was alive with fingerlings of some sort.

Got out the old Olympus today to see if I could get a decent zoom from it. The old camera behaved well enough without going balistic on the screen. Maybe the rest has done it good. Still better than the phone camera on a zoom.

A bit of rain today and I've finally switched back to running the house on tank water instead of mains. First time since November last year. The longest time previously on mains water was two weeks!

'Twas a dry summer indeed.
