Hands On!

Using this fun fabric, I made an art smock for Bella. She is growing and changing all the time. Now she is fully a little girl and no longer a toddler. 

Today we celebrated my birthday as well as Jeff's as our birthdays are only a day apart. Bella helped me make the cake and decorate it. I was glad she only found a handful of candles...if she had found more candles she would have put all of them on the cake.  It was a fun time with family.

Usually, I make chocolate cakes. Instead, I made a hot milk sponge cake that was quite good served with dutch chocolate icing.
